A picture of my night...

Well, since last night was spent going to the BXtra and looking at cribs, followed by a healthy dinner of old pizza from Pizza Hut, I thought it'd be better to just highlight my night from several days ago.

A co-worker of Mike's named Andy was graduating from ALS (Airmen Leadership School) on Thursday night. He also won a very prestigious award and needless to say, all the guys were super proud of him. It was a fancy event, and fortunately for a pregnant woman, it seems everything you wear resembles a tent...or you resemble a walrus. In any case, it was a fun night to honor Andy and spend some time with our friends.

Here are some of the guys that came out to honor Andy. Obviously, he's the one in the middle and the goofy guys on either side are just a snippet of what work life is like at the 459th.

There are many a nights where Mike will come home and say something completely inappropriate (and I won't even dare repeat it) that I just have to ask where he heard it from. He usually says, "Chris taught me..." Thanks Chris, now I know which individual I will NOT be leaving my child unsupervised with! Just kidding ; )

Mike and I with our great friends and neighbors, the Hedbergs. We are so lucky to live next to them and just love them to pieces! I don't know what was said when this picture was taken but I like it so that's why I'm posting it!

And lastly, me and my tent dress with my handsome husband. Some of the "friendly" comments I got on this night were, "Wow, are you having twins???" or "Gosh, you're due any day now aren't you?" or "Did I see you eat two pieces of cake?" (which as a matter of fact, I didn't you a$$hole!) oh and let's not forget to mention my absolute favorite, "Just how much weight have you gained now??? And you still have TWO months???" Geez people, way to make a pregnant woman feel good about herself.

All in all, it was a fun night and I'm glad we were able to come out and celebrate Andy and his success.

A picture of the cast of my favorite show...

Ok this was a toss up which is why I had to include my two most favorite shows, shows that I've seen E.V.E.R.Y episode of and bawled my eyes out when I watched the series finale multiple times.

My first favorite show is Dawson's Creek. This show reminds me of my youth, the show that I grew up with through my teenage years. This picture is actually the picture from one of their soundtracks that I happen to own and remember talking to Mike about on the bus during one of our cross country trips.

And lets not forget Sex and the City. I just love this show for the shock factor and the dynamics of these ladies. I even had a Sex and the City sleepover one time and invited my girlfriends over to drink cosmos and watch Sex and the City all night long. Good times.
Of course, there are plenty of honorable mentions, but these shows stuck out in my mind and therefore gives you a glimpse at my sense of humor/source of entertainment...

Wow, this was easy. My sister of course since she was there the moment I was born and practically raised me herself. With how wonderful I turned out, it should go without question that she'll raise her little girl with such talent and love as she did with me ; )

I can't choose just one photo of the two of us so here are some of my favs on my computer. I wish I had the time to scan some old photos of us as kids cause it seems like with each picture that was taken of us, I have the exact memory to go a long with it!

Mile 13.1 of the 26.2 miles we ran at the Philadelphia Marathon. Everyone thought we were twins and were like "Hey look at the twins with the bananas!"

I think we were at a bar, obviously behaving ourselves.

Pretty much how we look all the time we're together, laughing hysterically at the dumbest jokes that aren't even funny, but between us, they're hilarious!

I saw this on a friends facebook page and have always been reluctant to do it because I can't see myself posting every single day for 30 days. Let's be realistic, I probably won't. But, on the safe side, this will provide me with 30 posts worth of blogging material for you (as well as 30 pictures!) So, here's my first photo:

1. I'm 27 weeks pregnant

7. Mike has been a part of my life for 13 years and we've been together for 11 and a half years (and married for 2 and half)

8. At this point, I've lived overseas for 12 years (1 year in Holland, 9 years in Belgium and 2 years in Japan)

9. I have a secret recipe for salad dressing that my husband makes me recreate every night that we eat at home

10. I'm not a great flier and get nervous every time I have to do it (especially if I'm by myself...kind of ironic when I've got a pilot for a husband right?)
